Pemmican Meal Bar

I have never tried pemican but have read about it over the years. I finally decided to give some a try and I love it. It is very tasty and my body absolutely loved it. I didn’t have any digestive issues, zero bloating, and I feel like I could eat it endlessly without any issues.

It’s too bad that the ingredients to make it are so expensive. Because if I could, I would eat a bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can also see why people used it for survival purposes. It’s easy to store, easy to carry and loaded with energy. If you are fat adapted, I can see that you could survive perpetually on just pemican.

I will try other brands, but I thought this product was delicious and I tried both the spiced version and the no spice version. Loved them both. Also love the packaging. I know you’re not buying it for the packaging but kudos to the marketing team. It’s a great brand.

I also like the fact that it supports the ranching community. They are true heroes and I think we will find out more and more that carnivore based foods make healthier people. It has made a big difference for me and I’m very appreciative that ranchers do their thing.

Carry them with us for a pick me up or to hold us over until we can have dinner or supper. They keep us steady; don't need to reach for something we'd regret later.

I love these plain, salted 4 oz pemmican meals.

I have tried all 4 flavors on recent 42 mile trip. First off, the sustance gained was verified. Me and buddy split one along with our traditional breakfast bar and we had plenty of energy to carry us through until lunch. They were easy to take down, salted being our favorite for now, but will revisit the berry.
My highlight is I recently reordered, and my ordered was incorrect. I contacted customer service, and they quickly corrected the problem without hassle and saved me on my upcoming trip. This will be a new staple in my longer journeys.
