I bought one bar several days before buying the bucket and it was amazing. Great packaging and an exceptional taste.
I bought the bucket containing 40 bars and it is perfect for stocking up some food for whenever things unexpectedly happen.
The only issue I had was that 40 bars doesn’t actually fit inside the bucket, so it arrived opened with several bars loose. Not a major issue but I need to get another container to store those in….before I eat them! Definitely recommend!
I bought a single bar to try before purchasing bulk for food storage and let me say, it was outstanding! As a long time carnivore I can say the taste, texture, and steady energy of the bar was exactly what I was looking for. It has excellent packaging and will have a long shelf life for when the food stores are needed.
If you are used to a diet of high carbs and sweets, the flavor may take some getting used to, but I highly recommend this product!
The size and the pemmican itself and the taste are exactly what we were looking for in a backpacking food and emergency food. And they are Oregon based to boot!
I have to admit I'm not used to pemmican so after the first couple of bites I didn't know if I could get eat the whole bar. But halfway through something flipped in my mind and I found myself really enjoying it. I'm not sure why but maybe my body realized it needed this nutrition so hit the 'desire' button?
I tried another commercial bar and there was no meat flavor at all, just a hunk of fat. This bar isn't like that. This tastes like a cross between hamburger and beef jerky.
Definitely getting more.
Better than fast food. Better than a fake protein bar. When traveling, hiking, bike packing etc, these are the absolute best. Will continue to buy.

I melted it all down and added dry powdered pumpkin seeds and almonds with honey and some bacon grease. Taste pretty good.
I'm not sure what to think until I have to eat it,but it looks fine to me and packaging and shipping was great.
Throw a 3 hour bar into a pot of beans and then you have a perfect pot of beans. It adds a lot of flavor, protein and good fats.
The description for this pemmican bar is spot on. Delicious! It has a softer flavor than the grass fed, and the fat does not seem as rich and overwhelming. I'm a little worried because I devoured half a bar in about a minute. I hope SP can keep these in stock! I'm about to order more.
